Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it's the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that's as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.
Position: Facilities Manager
The Facilities Manager will oversee the management, monitoring, and control of the studios, and work with the Regional Facilities Manager and management team to ensure the studios are well-maintained and the facilities are upheld to Barryâs standards.
Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships with Studio Managers to create strategic and supportive Studio Facilities Staff schedules.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates by responding to emergency staff callouts and ensure that all studios are properly supported.
Assist the Senior Regional Facilities Manager in the recruiting and screening process of new hires.
Serve as the main Point of Contact (POC) for new hires' training, while also leading by example in managing the training process.
Coordinate meetings with individual staff members to review their individual roles, corrective action, and to the address any concerns.
Work alongside the HR Team in addressing progressive discipline.
Monitor and coordinate proper staffing needs.
Develop proper protocols to ensure all studio maintenance supplies and inventory are up to company standards/needs.
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
Report any repair issues that need professional attention to the Senior Regional Facilities Manager.
Monitor emails and studio requests to ensure Barry's expectations are being met.
Work closely with the Senior Regional Facilities Manager during studio tours and inspections to bring anything outstanding up to standard, as assigned.
Schedule minor studio repairs, including but not limited to: locker repairs, lighting, plumbing, painting, washer and dryer troubleshooting and any other facility repairs.
Assist the Facilities Team by working maintenance shifts - cleaning studio floors (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming) as a backup when needed.
Complete special projects and assignments, as necessary.
Maintain Maintenance Logs and report on daily activities.
Oder proper parts to ensure there is a well stocked inventory, while promptly completing return shipping of broken parts.
Coordinate preventative maintenance and schedule deep cleaning accordingly for each studio.
Assist with and coordinate treadmill repairs across all Northern California studios.

Fluent in English and Spanish
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Facility Maintenance Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong technical aptitude and follow through
Knowledge of facilities upkeep
Electrical and/or plumbing licenses are a plus
Written and oral communication skills
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and directions
Ability to stand, crawl, walk, push, pull and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
