Cashier Job Summary:
The Cashier will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Greets customers as they enter the location.
Accepts money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks.
Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies.
Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift.
Processes returns and exchanges according to store policy.
Identifies prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment.
Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
Bag, box, and wrap purchased items.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners.
Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds.
Knowledgeable about company’s products and services, and customer-related policies.

Education and Experience:
Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.

Food Prep Job Summary:
The Food Preparation Worker will perform routine tasks necessary to prepare cold items, salads, and ingredients for more complex dishes. Accurately package food items into customers bag.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
-Cuts, weighs, or measures ingredients according to provided instructions.
-Accurately prepares all in-house, online, DoorDash, and Uber orders.
Prepares vegetables to be used as condiments.
Combines salad ingredients.
Arranges prepared food on serving trays or in designated area for retrieval by serving staff.
Prevents the spoilage of ingredients through proper storage in designated containers and in designated areas.
Monitors the temperature of food and food storage areas.
Maintains and cleans salad bars and buffets.
Ensures tables are adequately stocked.
Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes.
Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to listen and follow directions.
Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines throughout the kitchen and restaurant.

Education and Experience:
Prior completion of food safety coursework preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time.
