We are currently looking for a Financial Technology Manager with project management and exceptional leadership skills to support our internal initiatives and clients in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is process driven and has expertise in technology applications related to Accounting, Finance, and Data Visualization with the ability to integrate and implement solutions for clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and maintain an environment to normalize and prepare data for reporting
- Increase productivity by developing Excel templates to consolidate and analyze financial and operational data (ex. budgets, income statement forecast, etc.)
- Ability to create and/or modernize Excel workbooks to support data analytics outside of dashboards
- Create various ad hoc reporting for executive management decision making
- Conduct analyses and research to troubleshoot operational deficiencies
- Understand data standards and identify data abnormalities
- Identify and evaluate key risk areas and recommend improvements
- Design, develop and deploy technology and consistent processes in support of financial planning, forecasting and reporting
- Drive the implementation of financial and operational systems
- Provide relevant, timely, and accurate financial information for financial planning, decision-making, control and risk management, and internal and external performance measurement
- Assist with development of systems architecture for financial planning systems – determining type of functionality, identifying key processes that reside in financial and operational systems to efficiently execute the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting functions
- Enhance and expand the client’s current financial modeling offering by leveraging SA’s CFOs as consultants and allowing well-trained model makers to build robust tools
- Leverage systems and technology to provide actionable insight, facilitate clients’ understandings of the actionable insights and help them choose courses of action
- Serve as the primary liaison between client’s finance team their and Management Information Systems (MIS) team or vendor(s)

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
- 10-15 years of professional experience in financial and/or business analysis
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field required
- CPA, CFA or other relevant certification (ex. CMA), preferred
- Experience in developing and validating data models
- Experience in leveraging data to analyze business processes in order to provide process improvement recommendations
- High energy, strong analytical thinker
