  • Manage Employee Health Insurance
  1. Maintain Environmental Record Keeping
  2. Coordinate Safety Program and Training
  3. Manage all Work Comp Claims
  • General Items
    1. Approve all Temporary employees timekeeping and billing weekly.
    2. Approve all Uniform billings weekly.
    3. Coordinate picnics, Christmas party, special lunches, etc.
    4. Assist Plant Manager to coordinate all layoffs.
    5. Participate in Union negotiations annually.
    6. Participate in ISO 9001 program annually.
    7. Manage Employee Training Tax Program.
    8. Monitor all department transfers.
    9. Post all job openings.
    10. Recruit, Hire and conduct new employee orientation.
    11. Work with Plant Managers to prepare termination forms and conduct exit interviews.
    12. Make available discount cards, coupons and tickets.
    13. Daily plant walks for employee communication and awareness
    14. Payroll system experience (PayCom a plus)
    15. Manufacturing experience a plus.
    16. Update and maintain COBRA program.
    17. Make sure all MSDS books are up to date.
    18. Maintain AQMD reports.

The ideal candidate must have payroll system experience and be able to multi-task. Labor Union and English/Spanish speaking required.
