IT Specialist Intern
Part-time hourly position, 20-30 hours per week. Under general supervision of the IT Manager, performs asset management and inventory control of computer hardware and software assets. Plans and implements computer upgrades; configures and installs technology hardware including PC workstations, laptops, other computer peripherals, and technology resources in a networked environment. Installs and configures software applications on various systems and networks. Performs basic helpdesk support, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains general office software applications, PCs, printers, and other technology resources. Maintains familiarity with new technological advancements in the computer industry. Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize and follow complex procedures and instructions.
Qualifications: Must be a graduate of a standard senior high school or equivalent. Must have a valid Utah Operator License. Good physical condition with the ability to lift computers and technology equipment. All internships and job offers contingent on passing pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
