Our MA/LVN’s are passionate about providing quality patient care to Chapa-De patients within our health centers and plays a key role in the planning and implementation of the health care delivery system.

MA/LVN Activities Include:
• Working within a team to create a positive patient experience.
• Greeting patients, maintaining health records, telephone duties and other administrative tasks.
• Performing back office duties such as:
o Laboratory and testing procedures, including routine and chronic care exams.
o Facilitate sending specimens to outside laboratory.
o Screening tests and recording results.
o Notifying patients of test results.
o Coordination of care and making appointments.
o Assisting with areas related to billing and compliance.
• Proactively assist the Physician/Nurse Practitioner as requested.
• Contributing as a positive role model for others on the team, a proactive patient advocate, and a contributor to the safe and effective delivery of care in a culturally sensitive manner.

Qualifications Medical Assistant:
• Medical Assistant with certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
• Current BLS Certified CPR certificate.

Qualifications Licensed Vocational Nurse:
• Current California LVN Licensure.
• Current BLS Certified CPR certificate.
